HOW WE WORK

A clear next step from the beginning

We share objectives, options, timing and required decisions so clients can understand the matter and act with confidence.

CORE PROCESS

Four clear stages

The exact procedure varies by matter and jurisdiction; a specific scope is provided before engagement.

STEP 01

Consultation

We identify goals, urgent deadlines, disclosure and available materials, and perform a conflict check.

STEP 02

Assessment

We assess rights, risks and alternatives, then propose scope, timing and fees.

STEP 03

Execution

We prepare documents and proceed with filing, negotiation or formal proceedings.

STEP 04

Follow-up

We report outcomes and deadlines and support maintenance, follow-on filings and portfolio adjustments.

PREPARING

Current context matters more than perfect materials

Incomplete materials are fine. Share what is known, and we will identify what is needed next.

Objective

The outcome sought: filing, dispute response, contract review, etc.

Timing

Launch, publication, exhibition, response and transaction dates

Materials

Technical notes, drawings, third-party correspondence and agreements

Parties

Inventors, collaborators, owners and other relevant parties

FAQ

Before we begin

An initial inquiry is separate from a formal engagement.

Does an inquiry create an attorney-client relationship?
No. A formal relationship begins only after conflict review, agreement on scope and fees, and completion of engagement procedures.
Should confidential materials be sent through the inquiry form?
Use the initial form for a non-confidential overview. Secure delivery of sensitive materials will be arranged separately.
How are fees determined?
Fees are proposed with the scope after reviewing the type of right, complexity, jurisdictions, deadlines and required procedure.
